Kioni is two today! How do we celebrate? Nothing, yet. Mommy worked all day, can't take the day off because it is the beginning of the semester, students tend to line up to ask questions. Daddy spent a lot of time cleaning the house because Grandma and Ye Ye are coming.
We will celebrate tomorrow, eat at Cheesecake factory, probably buy her some red ballons.
Grandma and Ye Ye brought lots of gifts, she will have fun opening them tomorrow. One of the gifts is in a big bag with lots of ballons on it, I hope she won't demand to have the bag before it's time to open the gifts.
She is afraid of the "Happy Birthday" song, and not so crazy about the fire on the candles either, so don't know what to do about that yet. Maybe we can sing "Angels we have heard on high", she loves this song, especially the "glo....o...o....o....o....o....ria" part. I tried to audioblog that, but have no success so far. Maybe "Jingle Bells" or "Fairest Lord Jesus" might work also, she has memorized about 20 songs now.
I'll record our day of celebrate tomorrow.
