They Match!

She was drinking water, "Oops!" she said, looking down at her feet and the floor beneath. She had just spit some water out and there were water spots on the carpet. As I wiped her mouth and her feet, she kept drinking. But when I went to get a towel to clean up the carpet, I heard another interesting sound from her. "Oops!" she called out once more while looking down at the floor. "They match!" she announced with a big smile on her face. I asked her, "What matched?" She replied, "Water spots." "Did you spit the water out a second time to match the first water spot on the carpet?" I asked. "Yes! they match!" She exclaimed enthusiastically. I bursted into laughter, and so did she. I just couldn't keep a straight face anymore.
