Showing Grandma and YeYe how to get on the MTR train (Mass Transit Railway) in Hong Kong

Holding on to the pole inside the MTR train with a brand new dress that Grandma brought and a brand new $1.5 strawberry bag we just bought on the side of a Hong Kong street.

Both Grandma and YeYe learned how to use the chopsticks in 5 minutes, pretty impressive, eh? This was their first try, picking up a slippery piece of Dim Sum. YeYe was smiling because he hadn't tried putting it in his mouth yet. Grandma was in the process of doing so, and realized that it was easier said than done.

"I got it!"

We special ordered this "Beggar's Chicken". The chicken was marinated with all sorts of spices, then wrapped in a large lotus leaf, a layer of dough and straw looking material wrapped the whole chicken up, then baked in the oven for who knows how long. The outcome, a very distinct-tasting chicken. Grandma and YeYe, as the guest of honour, got to crack the hard baked dough open with the golden hammer.

Grandma holding a gold-plated small version of the hammer that she cracked the "Beggar's Chicken" with. That was a surprise. The restaurant also gave them a photo of them whacking the hard dough.

This young man has the magically ability to pull a ball of dough into wonderful tasting noodles (La-Mein, literally means "pulled noodles") within a matter of minutes.

Wow! What is better than playing with strands of fresh noodles!

These beautiful lanterns were displayed for the Mid-Autumn Festival that was in September.

The largest hamburger we have ever seen!
It puts the U.S. burgers to shame. It was served in the Ruby Tuesday at
Telford Garden, Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong.

A bonding moment on morning when they flew back to the U.S. after a wonderful buffet breakfast at the hotel

Waiting for a bus to go back to Amy's parents' home. Why put the balloon in that awkward place? See the two big bags in between his legs? Books! Very heavy books. He had to spare a hand out for scanning the Octopus card, the balloon has to go somewhere. You might think, how about Kioni's hand, well, those who have kids will know, kids love their balloons, but will lose them before you can say, "Winne the Pooh" and then they will cry about it.
