She advanced another level for Kumon Reading today. We are so proud of her. The Kumon Center owner Ms. Joan Tiu wrote the following words to me in an email:"Kioni is by far the youngest reading student we've had and the only one who has achieved so much in so little time...We would really love to hear about her progress from time to time when you are in Scotland."
The following is the goal of the DI level:
Students learn to write compound and complex sentences by combining simple sentences. Students also learn to extract statements from paragraphs to identify a statement as a single unit of thought. Students expand their vocabulary by studying selected words from passages.
She is working on subtraction in Math, and she loves it because it is different.
