Kioni is a very slow eater, and she doesn't eat much either.
Tonight at the dinner table, like many times before, Dan told her that his mommy (Grandma) would sent him straight to bed without a full belly if he doesn't eat his food.
Kioni was very quiet, and then she spoke with a sad face, "Not even book?"
We read with her before bed, so in her mind, no reading of book is the worst thing in the world. Food is not a concern for her, but without books is.
