Kioni had her first ballet lesson today at Christine Liao School of Ballet 毛妹芭蕾舞學校, she had tons of fun, she absolutely enjoys it, she loves the interaction with other students in her class. She was hugging her classmates 10 minutes into the class. Here are a few photos to show it. She was the only one with no tu-tu, she was a bit sad about that, so we bought her one afterwards. Afterall, what is ballet for a 4 year old with no tu-tu!
The ballet school is one of two famous ballet schools in Hong Kong, conducting lessons according to the British ballet system. Kioni's cousin Janice is attending a high grade level in the same school. The teacher gave all the instructions in Chinese, Kioni said she was able too understand all of the instructions.
