Archaeopteryx

Today we were learning what is underground. One section of that science book said there are dinosaur fossils underground. She was reading the paragraph, then effortlessly, she pronounced the name of the dinosaur that was in the book that has turned into a fossil - Archaeopteryx. I looked at her, totally amazed, I said, "Can you repeat that?" She said, "It's easy mom, just say Ar-chae-op-te-ryx. It was the earliest bird." (Yes, she can spell it too.)
She is a big fan of dinosaurs, see how interest speeds up learning? Believe it.
