Recently Kioni loves to watch "The Sound of Music", everyday she will ask to watch it at least once. She particulary enjoys watching the scene which Captain Von Trapp first met Maria. She first called Captain Von Trapp 'daddy', then I told her that man's name is Captain Von Trapp, she found the name fun to repeat. I also told her that her daddy was also a captain. Since then, whenever she saw Dan, she will call her 'captain'. In the morning when she sees Dan, she will say, 'Good morning, capatin." After a day or so, she starts to call Dan 'Captain Daddy'. Today, she starts to say, 'Captain, my captain."She also enjoys the song "So Long, Farewell" very much, she
can sing it multiple times each day. We are starting to also introduce her to "My Fair Lady", but she still loves "The Sound of Music" a lot more.

I thought all Kioni's updates will go to the new .Mac site, only discovering today that you got so many new blogs about her here.
"The Sound of Music" is always a kids' favorite (including my kids), because so many songs are sung by kids, while "My Fair Lady" is not.
